The Appellate Practice Section will hold its Annual Meeting / Fall CLE / Social on October 18, 2017.  The schedule:

• 3 pm:  Annual meeting and vote on next year’s Executive Committee slate.
• 3:05-5:05 pm:  CLE, “Beyond Implicit Bias: Beginning the Work of Recognizing and Addressing Structural Racism and Other Forms of Bias in the Legal System.”  Panel will include Judge Darleen Ortega, Hanif Fazal, and Kasia Rutledge.
• 5:05-7 pm:  Social.  Meet appellate judges, court staff, and colleagues!

Tentative location:  Bridgeport Brew Pub, 1313 NW Marshall St, Portland.
