The 2016 annual election of the Appellate Practice Section of the Oregon State Bar is being held on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. at Bridgeport Brew Pub, 1313 NW Marshall Street, Portland, OR 97209. The election will take place immediately before the fall CLE & Social. The CLE will cover a variety of appellate issues of interest, including ORAP changes, stays and undertakings, mandamus mechanics, differences between federal and state appeals, and appellate pro bono.  It will conclude with remarks by Court of Appeals Judge Meagan Flynn regarding “what I wish I knew when I was a practitioner.”

Credits: 1.5 general MCLE credits (pending).

CLE Cost: $20 Appellate Practice Section members; $25 non-members; free for judges and court staff.
